“ Pain is real but so is hope” -Unknown

Life brings about moments of joy, sorrow, anger, love and many other complex emotions. My goal is to create a safe and trusting environment to allow for exploration, healing and growth. I believe in meeting my clients where they are and using my skills to help achieve a greater sense of self.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Intern in the state of Texas and earned my Master of Science degree from California University of Pennsylvania. My clinical experience comes from working in an inpatient psychiatric hospital, adolescent partial program, home-based therapy, and residential treatment facility.  I also have experience working with children, adolescents and adults in group counseling (support, psychoeducation, and process groups).

A few of my passions are working with children and adolescents, helping clients develop effective coping skills, and working with clients suffering from Grief and Loss. We experience many forms of loss in life and there is no “one size fits all” format of dealing with this painful and confusing experience.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions and I would be honored to begin the therapeutic process with you.
